Cairo is also a first-class tourist destination with many attractions to interest visitors.

Cairo also has famous shopping areas, dozens of palaces, mosques, churches, historic gates, ancient buildings of various ages, not to mention cultural and artistic places, such as theaters, opera houses etc. There is also a large selection of hotels and accommodation to suit all tastes and budgets.

There are plenty of things to do in Cairo including visiting amusement parks, famous tourist attractions and sightseeing. Besides visiting the Great Pyramid of Giza, which is one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, and the neighboring Sphinx, both of which have stood for thousands of years, you can also enjoy a two-hour Nile dinner cruise where you will be able to see a different side of Cairo as you drift along this world-famous river. The city is also home to nature reserves and protected landscapes. Far from the hustle and bustle of the city's heart, there are many quiet, cozy places to relax.
