Your initial application should be completed on TEFL ITTT's own Internet application form.
As part of our pre-screening process, applicants are requested to submit an account of their personal history and background and of their motives for joining the course, as well as their future aspirations.
If for any reason you wish to subsequently cancel your place on the course after your deposit or full fees (i.e. deposit plus balance) have been paid, ITTT/TEFL International cannot provide any refund except for exceptional circumstances. The course organiser's decision is final. In any case, the deposit is non-refundable. The main reason for this is that the staffing for the course and accommodation have fixed costs which have to be paid for in advance and based on a specific number of course members in the group. The school cannot guarantee to replace course members who subsequently drop out.
The deposit can be used as partial payment for any course on any date, subject to the availability of places, up to one year from the payment date. Applications can not be transferred or deferred within one week of the start of a course that the applicant has agreed to attend. At this time, if you are unable to attend the course, your deposit could be forfeited.
The balance of the course fees must be paid either in advance or on arrival at the course. Please contact the course organiser if you wish to make an alternative payment arrangement.
The course fee is based on your satisfactory completing all the course assessments, including teaching practice, within the four weeks. If for any reason you do not complete these satisfactorily within the period and it is agreed that an extension of time or further teaching practices are possible later, you will be liable to additional charges to cover additional staff time. These are 35 USD for each teaching practice and 20 USD for each piece of written work. If you withdraw from the moderation of your current course and wish to enter moderation on a later course, an additional moderation fee must be paid.
Should for some reason beyond our control a course must be unavoidably cancelled, a number of option will be made available to any member who has made a deposit for a course. These options are as follows:
The TEFL International TESOL certificate is not graded and the final certificate will usually be available on the last day of the course.
All course members are liable to the disciplinary regulations of the centre. The course director's decision is final.
ITTT will refund payments for online courses for any reason on request, but the refund request must be made to ITTT via email within 72 hours of the payment submission. If for any reason you subsequently wish to cancel your place on the course after the 72 hours has expired, ITTT cannot provide a refund. The course organizer's decision is final. The fees paid can be used as payment for another course at a later date, subject to course availability.
If you find a fully equivalent course offered at a lower price, then we will simply refund you the difference in price. All you need to do is send us a link to the website that is offering the equivalent course at a lower price in US dollars, and we will refund you the difference.
Please note that there are of course a few terms and conditions that apply to this offer:
After full payment of fees you should receive course log-in details within one working day. We will under normal circumstances respond to any enquiries within one working day.
All work submitted during the course should be the original work of the course participant. Repeated submission of worksheets containing materials taken verbatim from external sources, or work written by someone else, will result in disqualification from the course.
ITTT reserve the right to reproduce any work submitted by online course participants on our websites and/or publicity materials.
