Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching. This convenient, highly structured design means that you can quickly get to grips with each section before moving onto the next.
Because every student has different culture, level and motivation, teachers should consider each
student’ learning style and try to use different teaching method. In that way, students can attend the
class more enjoyable and can be successful in lecture. This unit taught me the techniques of teaching the language. Would be a challenge if there is a mix of students with different levels of proficiency in the class. Well covered ie including error corrections and the details of activities that can be adopted. Now we went over tools I can use in the classroom. Certain tools like Videos, Cameras, and OHP for example. This lesson also allowed me to imagine being in different situations when using these tools. So it is very important to think of all possible outcomes.
