I believe this unit was a great start to the TEFL certification process. The unit describe the roles of a teacher in an articulate manner. This allowed me to better understand teacher's involvement in the classroom. I personally believe that the role of organizer is most important for a classroom environment. The organizer maintains an educational setting and organizes the classroom activities, keeping students involved with the language. The information on types of learners that I may be introduced to was very helpful. It made me think about how teaching may change depending on the student's age, culture, and influences. Overall, this unit was a great introduction and brought me to think about other methods of teaching to benefit a student's needs.
