TESOL Videos - How do I choose a TEFL course?
This is what one of our TEFL graduates feels he has gained from the course, or a part of it, and how he plans to put into action what he has learned.
We learn about the basics of modals, phrasal verbs, and passive voice in Unit 18. The modals can be used to express obligation, possibility, permission, ability and advice. There is a chart that shows when they're used and example sentences in present/future and past tense. Passive voice is used when who or what did the action is not important. The chart shows the passive voice in different tenses and each formation. It also explains relative clauses and phrasal verbs. Teachers should keep track of the phrasal verbs that have been taught and use them or give the students opportunities to use them in classes.
