TEFL-TESOL Online Courses; how do they work?

Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching. This convenient, highly structured design means that you can quickly get to grips with each section before moving onto the next.

In this unit, I am exposed to the different ways of evaluating students which provides me with a good idea on how to grade a student’s learning progression. I am reminded over and over of how important it is to give tests at different stages in an English Language course.I learned the general consensus on what makes a good teacher. Fairness, knowledge of the subject, good at engaging all the students, etc. In addition, we went over the general levels of knowledge and proficiency. As well as the motivations for students in different age groups. This is a good resource for a teacher to know how to use the available resources, when to use them and how effective they are. The additional information at the end of the unit with links to various websites etc will be invaluable as I develop future lessons in the classroom.
