I have gained a deeper knowledge of the english language and a real understanding of how to use this to teach students wanting to learn english. I found some units a challenge and from this I have set myself goals to improve these areas, some units served to reinforce skills I already have and enhanced them further and other refreshed areas which have become stale. In all, this course has reopened my mind and helped me refocus on the details which will help the children in my care. In the short term I intend to use the knowledge gained to focus on a specific group of children who have recently arrived in england and have been placed in our school they have no english at all and I intend to focus first on language acquisition. My long term aim and the main reason I chose to study this course was to become an english Teacher in france and I intend to use this certificate to start my own business teaching one to one, small groups and provide 5 day intensive english residential courses at my home in france. This course has been a real assess for me to start the rest of my life, Thank you.
