I have learned a lot from taking this course. I have learned practical tips in dealing the class and students and I have acquired techniques to be an effective teacher. Some of the things I have learned are (1) making a detailed lesson plan (2) knowing my responsibilities as a teacher (3) being sensitive to the students’ needs (4) preparing suitable materials for my class and for their levels (5) teaching techniques in various and complicated grammar (6) different approach in sequencing the class and a lot more. I can’t say it all here but I have felt that I am more confident in teaching now because I have the knowledge on dealing different the pressures of teaching english and I can be an effective teacher.
Thanks to ITTT and to my teacher Jon, who is always supportive and helpful throughout the course, I was able to finish my lessons and worksheets acquiring a lot of knowledge. I plan to apply everything I have learned in my class if ever I land again in teaching position. I hope it will be sooner. I believe my certificate from ITTT will help me get this dream.
