I learnt that a teacher often has opportunity to use various methods for teaching.
By using appropiate approaches teachers can create effective learning environments.
By using teaching methods based on Engage, Study and Activate elements teachers are able to keep students stimulated and satisfy their learning needs in the classrom.
When using the engage stage the aim is to engage students fully.
In the study stage teachers often use controlled practice like worksheets, because the teacher needs to see whether students understand how to construct language correcly or not.
Teachers should not focus on giving corrections during the engage and activate stage, because it will dampen students´ enthusiasm. Receiving feedback from studetns helps the teacher know which areas need more clarification in future.
