This course has helped me to gather resources to use with the english language learner. I have book marked and downloaded a lot of resources that I will be able to access when I work with non language learners. While working on this class I have also become aware of some of my own deficits in grammar. I am working to make sure that I have better grammatical structural knowledge. Since I usually only teach students with some base knowledge of english, I have not worked on the fine details of the language. I thought I knew that parts of speech better. I do have enough knowledge about how to teach reading and writing; however the finer points of grammar and the ways were missing. It is always good to refresh the lesson plan writing since I have not written lesson plans in detail in the last three years. I know what I need and came gather it.
