This unit is devoted to the topic Troubleshooting. The most common troubles can happen during the first class with the students. It is important to establish a rapport and get to know the students, their motivation, and help the students get to know each other. If the group is large it is important not to ignore some and pay attention to few, but to create the activities that can involve all of them. A teacher should avoid using students' native language. Reluctunt students need to be encouraged by helping them to practice more before they speak, feel more comfortable in the class or work on some problems at home. If students have problems with listening it doesn't mean it should be avoided. A teacher need to help the students feel more confident by extra preparation or the proper amount of time for the listening tasks.
