I have learned a lot from this course personally and professionally. I will be able to apply a lot of what I have learned into my law practice as well which I am happy about. – Taking complex information and putting down into a way that people can simply understand. Even doing jury trials or public speaking ect. I can utilize some of the tools learned in this course to better convey complex information in a way that makes what I am sharing/teaching fun and exciting. I plan to use many of the techniques in any presentations that I do or trials that I have – using visual and audio materials OHP ect in my lessons or trials. It is very important for people to learn that way. I have also personally gained a sense of satisfaction of making it this far and completing it. I have also gained a greater confidence in terms of my english skills. It was not until I took a spanish language course did I truly begin to understand the english grammar and more so now with this course. I had terrible english teachers growing up in school and if they only would have explained things the way the course lays things out I would have been so much farther along. I can put what I have learned from this course into all areas in my life both professionally and personally. Writing letters communicating with other people and those whose english is limited ect. I had a good time reading the materials and learning how to do Lesson plans. I will definitely use the ESA approach in meetings, presentations, jury trials and communicating with large groups of people. Even if I was to never have used the certificate to travel, I feel this course was invaluable learning tool to gain a better understanding and knowledge of the english language.
