This was an excellent review of basic present tense structures and especially helpful for a native speaker. In my everyday speech, I do not think about switching between the different forms of present tense, but this chapter helped me to think about how I use each form in my everyday speech. This helped me to think about how to present the different forms to my students. Additionally, the activity suggestions in each section were particularly helpful for thinking about the best way to present the information to the students while engaging them.
