In order to be a good teacher I must be kind, patient, motivating, have good subject knowledge and be able to correct when necessary. I will need to know when to take charge but also when to withdraw and to be a resource during organized activities. I must be able to identify what kind of learners my students are. Good learners are willing to listen, ask questions, they are accepting of their errors and have a desire to learn and experiment. Whether my student is at a beginner, intermediate, or advanced level, I want to be able to motivate them to try their best and achieve their english learning goals.
