This is how our TEFL graduates feel they have gained from their course, and how they plan to put into action what they learned:
Personally, I have gained a great deal from this course. I've learned how to organize and plan different forms of lessons and what goes into the stages of a lesson. I have been reminded about many grammatical principles of my own language and learned new things about it. I've gained an understanding of the different levels of students learning a foreign language. I know the pros and cons of various teaching styles and strategies and differences of classroom sizes. Finally, I have a newfound confidence and belief that I have what it takes to be a strong and effective english teacher.
What I plan to do with what I have learned is to apply to different organizations that use assistant language teachers in there classrooms and choose the countries that I'd like to visit. I think this is an excellent way to travel, make money and give something to the world simultaneously. Maybe eventually I'll gain enough experience and decide to become a full-on teacher of an english class.
