I could only gain, really, because I needed to study before I could teach, not only to get a certificate, but also to learn how to teach english. What I learned was actually more than I'd hoped for. I now feel confident that I can get in front of a class, and if I did prepare the phases properly so the students can warm up and then have some lessons of grammar followed by some activities or games, I can teach. Moreover, I have wanted to "study" english for a long time, to improve my overall knowledge of the grammar, vocabulary, writing, pronunciation... well, I found my school! And I know I will learn even more by teaching. Teaching being the best teacher... Once you're on the right track!
