I am an older adult and a native english speaker. I am currently working as substitute in a South Central Texas schools system. We have many young people in the system that come from mexico with little or no exposure to english. I planning to use the knowledge that I have gained from taking this course to secure a full time teaching position in the Texas.
Some of the information from the course was a refresher for me but most was either new material or just information that over time I have forgotten. I feel that the course was very well structured and covered many areas which are applicable for me. The course has provided teaching tools and techniques that has and will help build my confidence in classroom.
