The biggest advantage of this course is that through professional knowledge I acquired from the study materials I gained confidence that I can be a good teacher. I have learnt many teaching methods for various groups and levels of students. Before I was not aware of the 3 study stages (engage, study and activate), so probably my lessons weren’t as effective as they can be now. I have also learnt how to prepare and how to plan the lessons, how to evaluate and test student, how to use educational technology and other teaching materials. Moreover I got an overview of most common grammar areas.
I will prepare lesson plans, before each class. I will also use the ideas and recommenced materials (from the units and websites) for activities of different study stages.
In my first job as english teacher, I will teach young learners of beginner level in china. The units about differences between adults and young learners and different approaches towards each group as wells as the bit of psychology and learning ways will help me a lot to be a good teacher.
