I feel that this course has given me confidence in teaching english. I have a better understanding on what to teach and how to teach it. I have learned how to manage a class in a more effective manner.
One of the most important concepts that I learned was ESA. ESA makes classes more interesting for the student and the structure helps me to organize my classes better. I really think this methodology will help me to become a more effective teacher.
I currently teach a class with many Asian(Khmer) speaking children and I have used the ESA in teaching my classes. I notice that I am able to attract and maintain the attention of my students in class.
