This course has been a very refreshing review of teaching strategies and grammar. The units offer comprehensive yet simple and straightforward explanations of grammar, which will benefit future students. I have acquired lots of activities and ideas for teaching language concepts and vocabulary. The course has also provided a wealth of resources, including texts and online articles, to use in an english language classroom. The lesson planning strategies, starting with the ESA format, help to streamline lesson planning and ensure that every lesson will be a “working” lesson. I have also gained several strategies for working with different levels, ages, and types of learners. I plan to employ these strategies and lesson planning techniques when I teach.
