I have gained a lot from completing this course. It has given me the opportunity to learn about a wide range of methods, techniques & approaches which can be used to teach english as a foreign language. I have learnt about the english Grammar structure. I didn’t have a great knowledge of the rules prior to the course but now I have a better understanding & I will be able to pass on this knowledge to the students in my future classes. This course has shown me how to create interesting & varied lessons and ways in which to deal with the different types of students & learners. This was very beneficial and it will be great use in the future. I can now compose successful lessons by means of lesson plans & this will be of importance in planning future lessons. I have learnt about a large range of resources, games & activities which can be used in the classroom. This is an excellent resource for me and it will help keep my lessons fresh & varied in the future. I am now aware of the importance of the first lesson with students & the need to establish good rapport from the beginning & to find out the level the students are at so I can plan future lessons. I have knowledge of the different categories who may decide to learn english- young learners, adults or Business people. Also I have methods to approach the different types and help them to achieve the most from their lessons. I am now aware of the personal skills & qualities a good teacher must have & I hope that in future years I will continue to poses some of these qualities. I thoroughly enjoyed completing this course and I have a greater knowledge & confidence in my own abilities at the end of it.
