With this unit, we are shown the importance of displaying how a word sounds. To assist with proper pronunciation of a word we can assist the students in diction and proper forms of speaking. English is can be a tricky language, so different combinations of letters can affect how a word is pronounced. Along with showing how to say particular words or making particular sounds with our mouths. With English, some sounds may be difficult for a student to pick up on. We will need to display how the sound is made as to clear up what a word actually sounds like.
