I have learned that classroom management isn't only about being strict to get the students to listen but it is more about building a relationship/rapport with your students. It is also important not to only create rapport between the teacher and the students but also between student and student. When disciplining students, the teacher should be reasonable and also act immediately and focus on the behavior. It is important to point out their behavior rather than making them feel like they are a bad person. It seems like managing classroom is really about building trust between students and teachers and knowing when to use which strategies based on what your students respond to.
