This unit talks about what makes a good teacher and an ideal learner. A good teacher seems to be aware of the different roles he can use in the classroom. He also understands the students language level and culture. An ideal learner is open minded, doesn't compare his native language to the one he is learning and isn't afraid to ask questions. I have learned that my wish to become a teacher will be a long but an exciting journey. As a social worker I think I possess some of the skills you need like: active listening, being sensitive and observe students. I probably have to work on my management and organizational skills.
