Here Below you can check out the feedback (for one of our units) of one of the 16.000 students that last year took an online course with ITTT!

This unit was based on two different examples of teaching a lesson with the same content and same teacher, but using two different approaches. The first video was and example of a lesson that was not well done by the teacher and the second video was an example of a lesson very well planned and executed. The idea is to notice the difference between the two approaches and see which was more effective and why. The second lesson was far more effective for students than the first. The teacher engaged the students right away in the second lesson where he just jumped right into teaching in the first. The teacher welcomed each student and asked all of their names. This is a good way to to get to know students and build rapport. In the second lesson, the teacher's attitude was happy, positive and relaxed, as opposed to the first lesson. There was a noticeable difference in the response of the students. The students were much more active, relaxed, and focused in the second lesson making it much more effective. In the second lesson the teacher was doing a very good job of eliciting language from students and including the entire class in the lesson. The instructions and demonstrations the teacher used in the second lesson were very clear and well explained making the activities very efficient and organized. The teacher was very encouraging toward the students in the second lesson which seemed to motivate the students to participate and experiment with the language. I felt the same as the students must have felt in the first lesson: annoyed, agitated, upset, and frustrated. During the second lesson, I also must have felt the same as the students: positive, happy, uplifted, encouraged, motivated and confident. The example in the second lesson motivates me want to be the best EFL teacher I can be and be a positive influence for my students. It was very clear to see that the attitude of the teacher has a profound effect on the success of the lesson.
