Before this unit, I had never really seen a list of all the possible pieces of equipment that may be available in a classroom, and there are definitely certain things that I had not thought of, as to the use of these things...such as a news report, or short play etc (when talking about video recording equipment)...things that would keep the students interested, and get their imagination working, which are 2 of the key elements of being a good teacher.
This section has given me some great ideas for future lesson planning, and ways in which to keep it interesting for me, and more importantly, my students.
