This unit discusses different types of teaching methods, defines stages of a regular class flow (engage, study, and activate), and provides examples of activities that can be conducted during each of these stages. I learned that no one teaching method or combination of stages is necessarily superior over the others and it depends on the situation, the learning material, and the students which approach is the best. I also think it was very interesting to learn that students should not be corrected in some parts of the lecture, so they can gain the confidence to learn more.
