I find this Unit causes me to have more questions than answers. The wide range how which books are used and how often can vary so greatly, I am left simply wondering how I might tackle different scenarios. Depending on which country I am stationed in, as well as what region within that nation, can cause a great divide in readily-available material. This realization seems to place much more focus on the philosophy of axioms in teaching, rather than the material itself.
I may find myself in a country or region that does not have plentiful paper or supplementary books. Thus, I may find it necessary to create a crossword or word-jumble on the board for created material. Conversely, I may have a strict syllabus that also holds plentiful resources, and be forced to find ways to liven up material to keep students engaged. I believe having a backup of made materials likely assists any teacher in being effectively prepared for either scenario.
