I was surprised to see that cassette tapes are still being noted as options. While I am not so naive as to forget that certain regions of the world are truly underfunded, I would have assumed CDs would at least be utilized. After all, it has been nearly three decades since cassettes were a viable form of audio learning. Even a phone can now hold an entire semester's worth of audio.
That said, it was still quite useful to consider some of the ways in which presentations and activities can be held in a classroom. Depending on the age-group and location, I would wager computer/projector presentations are now likely the most effective method of engaging students. So many children spend their free time on either smart phones or in front of computers, it would stand to reason the visualization on such mediums attracts their attention more efficiently.
