The most important thing for me that I learnt in this unit was on course books.I have had mixed feelings towards using course books but this unit has clarified a lot of things which has left me not feeling ripped into two.I now know I can still use a course book but I do not need to follow each and everything in it.I can be creative and add or subtract some things to suit the needs of the students.The course book is there to give a guide and so as a teacher you can avoid having to create a whole new course book by yourself.I have also learnt on authentic and created materials which are used to substitute somethings in a course book.I could say I would prefer to use both depending on what lesson I am giving.
