Unit 7 covers the ways that you should approach teaching new vocabulary words, grammatical structures, or language functions to a class of students. Each section covers what the student needs to know about the topic (e.g. students need to know spelling/pronunciation, appropriacy, etc. for new vocabulary), techniques for teaching that topic, and an example ESA lesson. I learned what a language function is defined as and how to teach it as well as suggestions on how to choose the right vocab words to teach. The example lessons made things clear as to how to perform a given lesson on a type of (new) language topic.
