Just like the receptive skills, productive skills are equally important is the study of any language. Actually, speaking is quite different from writing even though they are all productive skills. Accuracy activities are usually part of the study phase of an ESA lesson. They focus on reproduction of correct and accurate language, therefore, they are controlled. Fluency based activities are not so much controlled because they are targeted at helping students to experiment and be creative with language. They are therefore carried out in the activate stage of the lesson. In the teaching of writing skills, hand writing, spelling and punctuation are factors that need to be looked at very carefully. Creative writing should be encouraged since it helps build the confidence of the student and gives them a sense of pride. Games are also a very good way of improving creativity in language learning
