This unit was helpful in demonstrating some actual teaching techniques. I think that this is the first Unit so far that has provided tips on how to actually structure a lesson to balance different roles of teaching and keep the class engaged through variations in how the class is taught. I would have liked to see more questions regarding correcting errors and mistakes as it is an important part of teaching but I’m sure it will come in a later lesson. I also wish that specific structures for patchwork lesson plans based on different levels and age groups could have been provided instead of just referred to.
