A good teacher should have variety of qualities that can improve and motivate good qualities in the learners. In order to do this the teacher must understand it’s different roles while teaching, such as monitor, support, tutor and many others. Also consider that not all the students have the same experience in life as well as goals or motivations. Cultural differences is something to consider as well. I learned to identify the different levels of English students.
Finally this unit helped me to see what to expect from different students and be more aware to develop good qualities in them as well as motivate them.
