This unit taught me the basics of lesson planning, including what types of things I should include in a lesson plan for it to be the most effective and most useful for teaching. I learned the importance of writing down lesson plans for your own record to refer back to, as well as the importance of them in seeing your class's progress.I think reminders about being open to being flexible were important. Lastly, the section highlighting the importance of self-evaluation was also helpful, and the forms that this unit provided will be useful for me in the future.
