Having to work on my teaching degree in foreign languages in the past , I was already familiar with most of the content of this unit. However ,it was very interesting to learn some of the new terms to me when describing different types of teachers and students along with their classification.
Studying this learning material ,I was also self analyzing my own personality . I was looking for the right category of teachers that would apply to me. I was very pleased to find myself in most of the teaching roles , especially the role as a prompter and assessor. I also came to the understanding that I really have to prepare myself for future challenges in live teaching. There will be different learners with different culture , age , personality .
I am a little bit nervous about making foreign students speak just English and no other language, particularly teenagers and young children like mentioned in the unit but overall I am very excited and have a positive feeling regarding this course.
