This Unit has taught me the importance of the relationship betweent the teacher and the learner. The teacher needs to respect the student and their culture. There are different attributes to consider when working with different students, most importantly is the age group, their language level as well as understanding different personalities and how to work with them. The teacher needs to know when to prompt, encourage and when to correct, however to always correct the learner in a way that is encouraging.
