In this lesson I learned about the different methods and theories to teaching English. There are many approaches to take and not just one is right. There is the possibility to mix certain aspects of multiple approaches. Another important topic in this unit was ESA teaching. I have experienced in my own studies from my teachers and find it very interesting because the engage stage gives much room for creativity that you can incorporate depending on your learners. I also learned how well ESA engages every student.
