Unit 9 tells us about the lesson planning. We learn about 2 different approaches to that issue. The first one dissuade us from planning, while the other advises to plan the whole thing which is rather good for an inexperienced teacher. As usual, the right track is in the middle. It is important to get yourself prepared for the lesson by writing down a lesson plan as it acts as an aid to planning, a working document and a class activity record altogether. We learn how such plan should be written down, organized and what should be included in it. An example of a lesson plan is included in both filled and blank format. Also it is crucial for the teacher to assess the quality of his own lesson by making notes on self-evaluating form. This will help teachers to improve and develop their own skills. Lessons should be planned not only as stand alone, but also in a sequence. For that reason we consider the ability to make changes to plans during lessons, both students' and teacher's goals, the revision of the educational material and pretty balanced variety of activities over a sequence of lessons. The rest of the Unit 9 is dedicated to present perfect tense task materials with questionnaire, grammar and exercises given.
