This unit displayed the basics of the English language that I was taught in elementary school but it was a challenge to answer the questions without reading the unit several times. I learned that I do remember a large part of the unit and glad to discover it was still being taught in a similar manner. The exceptions to the rule were a familiar statement I recall and they do have to be memorized, repeated and practiced by new learners. I thought of ways I would being teaching the content and even had a flip chart that I used as I am a visual learners and would use a chart again if that method would deliver the message to new learners of English as a second language.
