From this unit, I have learned a basic overview of the role of the teacher and student in the classroom setting. I have learned the qualities that make a teacher and student "good" teachers and learners, including personal qualities, interpersonal skills and motivations. I have also taken away the levels of language learners and their associated skill levels. I believe that the notes regarding the differences between younger and older English language learners will be helpful in the teaching approach I will take with the different age groups involving the same material.
