This unit was a follow up to the previous unit on the essential skills for language learning. This unit focused on the productive aspect which are writing and speaking, which are of equal importance. I learned that the aspects of writing that are pivotal to exceptional writing skills such as penmanship, spelling and punctuation as well as those for speaking skills which are accuracy and fluency. This unit also gives great examples of an ESA plan focused on improving writing skills and another for speaking skills.
