This unit explained the importance of having a lesson plan. It also talked about what the lesson plan should contain and how it should be structured, for example, putting down how long a class activity will take as well as learning objectives for the students and also what the teacher hopes to achieve after the end of the lesson. The unit also provided good examples of class exercises, such as an exercise on the modal auxiliary verbs 'might' and 'may'.
