This unit covered some common problems teachers come across when they first enter the classroom. It was entertaining because it made me think about all the times I have come across these exact problems during my years as an educator. Tips for a first lesson are given. Problem solving techniques for warm ups, teaching different levels at the same time, dealing with large class sizes, and dealing with native languages are discussed. I am most happy to be switching schools to leave large class sizes behind. Currently my class sizes average 40 students—my largest is 44. Very excited to be moving to a school with 10-15 students per class.
