I found these questions a bit confusing, maybe I did not get it right. I learned that in order to plan a lesson one must follow certain functions such as: what students expect to achieve by the end of the lesson, it helps to keep on target, and also allows the teacher to make changes according to the needs of the students. If the teacher becomes ill and needs to be missing, the replacement will be able to continue. in the lesson plan you also need to have the language point, learner objectives and personal aims. the phases need to follow a sequence such as engage, study and activate. the first serves as a warmer, the second focuses on the languague and its structure and the third the student is challenged to use everything he has learned until that moment.
