In this unit, I learned quite a bit about how to control a classroom. I'm going to take these lessons and apply them to my current job. I want to focus on simple and concise explanations as well as polite yet assertive language when it comes to discipline. I think that building rapport within the classroom will increase student talk time, give students a comfortable atmosphere to experiment with language, and build respect for the teacher.
