The unit showed examples of a poor and a successful English class. In the first video the teacher had a negative attitude, didn't smile, and kept repeating the same information, although the students clearly didn't understand him. He seemed to be poorly prepared; his activities didn't allow for much student participation. In the second video the teacher was a lot more positive and encouraging. He showed a more personable approach by introducing himself and learning the students' names. The learning was a lot more successful as the teacher prepared a well thought out lesson that allowed the students to participate and practice their skills.
