In this module I learnt an overview of lesson planning. I understsnd the importance of being prepared in all aspects in terms of worksheets, material as well as measuring out time frames in which each of the activities aim to be completed. The lesson should always be aimed at achieving the learner objectives at the end of the lesson. Setting these aforementioned learner objectives is useful to keep the teacher on track both during preparing and teaching. It also aids in reflection as the teacher can look back on the lesson and decide if it was successful or where possible changes could be made. Furthermore I viewed various materials which. An be used throughout the various phases of a lesson. I completed my own lesson plans based on these materials in both boomerang and patchwork structures. I found this a great learning and training experience.
