This unit covers two important parts of grammar:
The first part is about conditionals, we learn that there are four types of conditionals, the zero conditional, the first conditional, the second conditional and the third. We learn for each its usage and ideas of teaching conditionals for example split sentences, chain conditionals or some roles plays in which students should use it. I was already familiar which the teaching of conditionals but I learnt a lot of new ways of teaching it.
The second part was about reported and direct speech. This unit shows us the changes in tenses, pronoun and time expressions. Once again I was familiar with direct and indirect speech but I learnt new methods of teachings it, for example intermediaries, media interview role playing..etc
This unit was vey instructive useful.
