In this unit, I learned the importance and the procedure of lesson planning. The lesson plans could be an aid to planning, a working document, and a record. In addition, this unit also outlined how a lesson plan should be written down and gave some basic principles of lesson planning, including keeping it simple, try not to script the lesson and write the anticipated time for each activity. Being organized is stressed in this unit to ensure the lesson runs smoothly. Most importantly, this unit listed what should be included in a lesson plan, such as learner objectives, personal aims, and procedure. However, it also highlighted self-evaluation, which is necessary for self-improvement.
